Union Depot, Archer, Florida. Built around 1913 it was called Union
Depot as it served two lines, the Coastline ran North and south and the
Seaboard from Gainesville to Cedar Key. The road behind the station was
Highway 13 and was the original county road to Gainesville. The building
behind the Union Depot was a freight station which still stands. The Union
Depot has been torn down. |
